Posill — Data Deletion

Posill respects your privacy and gives you control over data associated with your use of the app.

Data stored by Posill

Posill does not require you to create a Posill account, and we do not store your bills, products or any other content on Mate Technologies’ servers.

Your data may be stored:

  • Locally on your device.
  • In your own Google Drive account.

Delete data stored on your device

You can delete individual data or other saved content directly from within Posill where a delete option is available.

To remove all Posill data stored locally on your Android device:

  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Go to Apps or Applications.
  3. Select Posill.
  4. Select Storage.
  5. Tap Clear Data or Clear Storage.

You can also uninstall Posill. Uninstalling the app normally removes its locally stored data from that device.

Delete data from your Google Drive

If you have used Posill to save or back up data to your Google Drive account, that data is associated with your own Google account rather than a Posill account.

You can remove Posill-related data from Google Drive by:

  1. Open Google Drive using the Google Drive app or website.
  2. Find files or folders created or saved by Posill.
  3. Select the files or folders you want to remove.
  4. Choose Remove or Move to trash.
  5. Empty your Google Drive trash if you want the deleted items to be permanently removed immediately.

If Posill uses Google Drive’s hidden application data storage, you may also be able to remove its stored app data through your Google Drive/Google Account settings.

You can additionally revoke Posill’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account → Security → Third-party apps and services settings. Revoking access prevents Posill from accessing your Google Drive through your Google account in the future, but it may not by itself delete data already stored in your Drive.

Warning

Removing data or uninstalling the app will lose access to your data permanently.

Third-party services

Posill may use third-party services for functions such as analytics, advertising, crash reporting, purchases, or other app functionality. Information collected directly by those services is handled according to their respective privacy policies and data-retention practices.
